There are several levels of emergency services. We have 6 Rescue Squads in Pocahontas County. They each have their own area of response. If an emergency is large enough such as a flood, we may need more help. The coordination for all emergencies begins with the 911 Center in Marlinton located on 1008 Jury Street.
